DESCRIPTION:

Secure File Storage on Cloud using Cryptography, security is deemed to be a crucial aspect due to the significance of information stored in the cloud. The data can be confidential and extremely sensitive. Hence, data management should be completely reliable. The information in the cloud must be protected from malicious attacks. Unauthorized access to information results in loss of data confidentiality. My engineering projects give you that project The utility of this cloud and its services are not restricted to a domain or any premises. All the users such as principal, teachers, and students are allowed to use this data whenever needed. This project has a cloud that is accessible to all, a database to store college-related data and all information, the website for users to log in to the cloud.

BASIC CONCEPT OF CLOUD STORAGE:

Cloud storage is one of the primary use of cloud computing. With the cloud storage, data is stored on multiple third-party servers, rather than on the dedicated servers used in traditional networked data storage. When storing data, the user sees a virtual server that is, it appears as if the data is stored in a particular place with a specific name. But that place does not exist in reality. It is just a pseudonym used to reference virtual space carved out of the cloud. In reality, the user’s data could be stored on any one or more of computers used to create the cloud.

Advantages:

The stored image file is completely secured, as the file is being encrypted not just by using one but three
Encryption algorithm which are AES, DES, and RC2.
The key is also safe as it embeds the key in an image using LSB.
The system is very secure and robust.
Data is kept secure on a cloud server which avoids unauthorized access.

Conclusion:

The main goal is to securely store and access data in the cloud that is not controlled by the owner of the data. We exploit the technique of elliptic curve cryptography encryption to protect data files in the cloud. Two-part of the cloud server improved the performance during storage and accessing of data. The ECC Encryption algorithm used for encryption is another advantage to improve the performance during encryption and decryption process.
