Pick and Place Robot using Computer Interfacing:

Pick and Place Robot using computer interfacing are to design a robot that can pick the object from one point and place it to the other point. This whole process can be controlled through the PC. In the kit pick and place robot, the movement of the robot can be controlled through serial port using serial communication. The serial communication between the robot and PC is done by the Dock Light software. At the transmitting end as the user press key on the keyboard, it sent the commands to the robot via serial communication through the PC. These commands received by the Robot.

In the project PC based Pick and Place Robot; the robot received the command from the PC through serial ports. These signals are now fed to the controller of the 8051 family which operates the motors attached to the robot accordingly. These motors will be drive through the H-Bridge circuit. At the receiving end, four motors are interfaced with the robot where two of them are used for arm and gripper movement i.e. up and down of the robot while the other two are for the body movement i.e. left, right, forward and backward.
